HERO'S PROGRAM

Hero and Shero program is designed to recognize local individual who work to
promote education for orphans and vulnerable children in their community. The
program also encourage community members to take actively role in advancing
education  children's education. Hero's award include certificate, gifts and  
monetary reward of up to 5000 in local currency.

Loony was nominated by Canterio International for her work with as an educator in Npenje village. Loony is a role model for
women and young girls. In additional to her family responsibilities,  Lonny actively organize women to work together to care for
vulnerable children in her community. Loony organize poetry events  to educate children. Currently Loony is teaching women in
the light to read women literacy program. Loony is a teacher by profession.
Christopher was nominated for Hero and Shero award by Canterio International for showing genuine interest in the education of
poor orphans and vulnerable children in his community. Christopher  encouraged his student to participate in the Pangaea project,
makes arrangement to transport them to the Lilongwe city. Christopher is a head teach
er by profession.
