Selection criteria was based on the applicant’s motivation, enthusiasm to learn and past history of community involvement. During selection process, priority was given to orphan’s girls from child headed households

Commencement day Canterio International provided books, Pen, Pencils, text book, and school materials to women in the program. Also, Kerosene lanterns (lamp oil) was provided to all girls in child headed house hood to use to practice reading and complete assigned homework. Read more

Most women did not get education because, their parents refuse to pay school fees to educate them when they were young girls and, young girls are forced into early marriage and discourage from going to school..
