Many orphans do not get enough daily nutrition. Many orphans are hungry because food is scarce. Some orphans may find wild fruits or vegetables to eat but are not getting a balanced diet.

Orphans in child headed households struggle to find food on a daily basis. Unfortunately, their education becomes less important when they are hungry.
