We identified a local business owner and
awarded the contract to make uniforms for the
orphans. Whenever possible we put money into
the Malawian economy.
Isa Ebowe, of Canterio USA, distributes pens,
pencils and other supplies to students in need
in Malawi. To date, Canterio International has
distributed over 12,000 pencils to orphans and
vulnerable children in Malawi.

In Malimbe Community School, orphans who performed very well in
school, achieving a position at the top of  their class, were awarded a hat,
T-shirt and writing materials. This may encourage other students to study
and stay in school.
